	Tanto hemos hablado de ella y no es justo que no tenga su propio espacio en LL . Quienes disfrutamos de su talento tanto en cine como en musica tenemos este post para subir material de esta excelente artista y quienes no la conocen aun,tendran una oportunidad de oro (sidbriiiiii...es la detonacion de partida! ). Hala...a disfrutar,guap@s. Biografia de kd lang Kathryn Dawn Lang nació en Consort, estado de Alberta, al oeste de Canadá, el 2 de noviembre de 1961. Comenzó tocando la guitarra a los diez, y en tres años comenzó a escribir e interpretar sus propias creaciones. A comienzos de los "80 formó su banda, "the reclines" (un homenaje a su artista más admirada: Patsy Cline). Pronto obtuvo mucha repercusión con sus expresivas actuaciones, únicas y llenas de energía. Al primer single de la banda "Friday Dance Promenade" le siguió la producción independiente "A Truly Western Experience". En 1985 el grupo firmó contrato para Sire Records de Nueva York, y k.d. caminó por el pasillo del teatro para recibir su primer premio Juno (el equivalente canadiense del Grammy), ataviada con un vestido de novia y botas de vaquero. En su discurso de recibimiento prometió "seguir cantando por las razones correctas". Cosa que hizo. Comenzó su carrera musical interpretando un estilo country, con mezclas de música pop. Salió de ese estilo en el año 1992 con el disco Ingenue (por el que obtuvo un Grammy), y con ese material se declaró públicamente lesbiana. Su último disco es "Live by Request" (En vivo a pedido del público) del 2001, grabado en diciembre del 2000 en la Universidad de la ciudad de Nueva York, CUNY. Invincible Summer es el disco del año 2000 (Verano Invencible, tomado de una frase del escritor francés Albert Camus). La producción de este nuevo material estuvo a cargo de Damian LeGassick, a quien lang conoció en una fiesta de la cantante pop Madonna. 	Nens, kd lang colabora en la banda sonora de la nueva película de animación clásica de Disney, se LLama "Zafarrancho en el Rancho" y se estrena en España el 6 de Agosto :)

	Acá hay un resumen muy bueno de la historia de KD Lang.. y cuenta q ella estuvo en una relación de alrededor de 9 años con Leisha Hailey, ls actriz/música q hace de Alice en The L Word!
