Esta mañana dando mi paseo rutinario por la Fnac cayó en mis manos el nuevo disco de KT Tunstall. Había oído a esta chica por la radio y tal y me había llamado la atención su single pegadizo, pero esta mañana...oh!!sorpresa!!en la portada del disco la Tunstall sale con unos curiosos tirantes con la bandera gay. Casualidad?Premeditado? la cuestión es que me ha dado que pensar si realmente la chica entiende o simplemente ha sido una elección "poco acertada" (no es un comentario despectivo, ni mucho menos) de su asesor de imagen.  Como no sé colgar fotos para poder verlas os recomiento que busqueis a este chica por internet, y si puede ser la portada de su disco mejor que mejor. Un saludito |

si alguien quiere ver la portada, aunque no se ve muy bien... [ img ] Yo nosé si se puede considerar a alguien lesbiana por llevar unos tirantes con esos colores, yo creo que esta chica, que por cierto su música es muy muy recomendable, no le hace falta este tipo de marketing, no? Por ejemplo, también salió una vez Sharleen Spiteri con un jersey con los colores de la bandera gay, y ella no es lesbiana. Vamos, que ni creo que se lo puso ni por segundas ni nada... |

Sí,tienes razón,a lo mejor a la chica simplemente le han gustado los tirantes y ha pensado en ellos para su portada. El arcoiris también es el símbolo de la paz,no? El caso es que me ha hecho gracia, aunque más que gracia...ilusión,jeje

pues me ha entrado la curiosidad y hasta he buscado por internet  a ver si se comentaba algo de este tema, pero no he visto nada...Nosé, siempre nos quedará la duda...

No compares una pija a una cantante que está utilizando ese "complemento" en la portada de su disco...digo yo que alguien de alrededor le habrá podido sugerir cuál es uno de los significados de esa baderita,no?

Pues yo esta mañana he alucinado un poco con lo que me parecía oir de la canción Suddenly I see..(y no sabía lo de los tirantitos) y he ido a ver la letra... No es que sea explícita.. yo diría que es un poco ambigua.. puede hablar de "me gustaría ser como esta tipa tan guay" o "me estoy pirrando por esta tía tan guay"... creo que entre el arcoiris y la letra.... mucha casualidad no? Creo que se cierra el tema. En este reportaje en el que se trata todo lo que acabamos de decir ella misma desmiente el tema lesbianismo, la portada y el tema letra. La letra habla de la portada Horses de Patti Smith y lo de los tirantes... casualidad. Pues vale. New release Suddenly I See is also tipped to chart well when it comes out next week. But along with the undoubted success of the last 12 months, KT, 30, has also encountered the inevitable downside of fame. First there was the interest in her family background to contend with - she was brought upby adoptive parents in St Andrews - then came a series of gay rumours. The singer isn"t troubled by her new found status as a gay icon, she thinks it is "quite exotic", but KT is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, drummer LukeBullen. Fans have flooded her website"s chatroom with rumours about KT"s sexuality since the release of the album, which features her wearing rainbow-coloured braces - said to be a gay "sign" - on the sleeve. Fans are also debating the possible meanings of her new single. She said: "Suddenly I See has left lots of fans wondering if I am gay. "On mywebsite, people are asking, "is she in love with a woman?" "But Suddenly I See is about thefact that Patti Smith looks great on the cover of her record Horses and I wanted to be like that." The rumours began when she chose the picture for the cover of her debut album Eye To The Telescope, which has sold more than half a million copies since its release nine months ago. "People think the cover of my album proves I"m gay," she said. "But I picked the picture for the cover at the last minute because we couldn"t agree on what picture to use. "I didn"t want it to look like all the other records by female singers out there. "So I picked a cover picture then I got a phone call from my gay friend in San Francisco saying "all the girls are loving your cover" and I was like, "oh, my God.That"s the gay flag - the rainbow braces". "So it"s completely forgivable if anybody thinks I"m gay. And I haven"t got a problem with it anyway because it is quite exotic." KT did have an embarrassing moment, though, when a fan appeared intent on outing her in front of a crowd of thousands at a show in Dublin. She said: "Lesbians have a tendency of getting very drunk and coming up to the front of my gigs and shouting at me. I had this show in Dublin with this girl shouting, "KT, you"re a lesbian". "I didn"t know what to do. I didn"t want to offend any lesbians in the audience. Also, I didn"t want to tell them I wasn"t a lesbian because it"s quite exciting. "Then I realised 99 per cent of the theatre didn"t know what was going on so I had to explain it. I said, "that girl called me a lesbian" and everybody started laughing. "The girl was shouting, "no, KT, just listen to us". But I was thinking, "you"ve said enough". "Then she threw a paper aeroplane onstage to get my attention. I ignored it, finished the gig and went offstage. "Later, the roadie came up to me and said, "I think you should read this". She"d written on it, "we were saying, KT you"re a LEGEND"." Although proud of her gay following, the singer, who was born in Edinburgh, says she is happily ensconsed in a relationship with Luke, who has worked with rock legend Joe Stummer and former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire. KT said: "I"ve been with the same guy the whole time. I find this difficult to do without a partner who is amazingly supportive and Luke totally understands what I do. "He"s had much more experience than I have and he gives me great advice on all this. "I need advice from him and friends and family because there are no rules and no game plan and that"s what Black Horse and The Cherry Tree is about.You"ve got to search within yourself for what you want and what you stand for. "A lot of these decisions can affect my career and I need to think whether I want to put my foot down and say, "I don"t want to do this, I"m not alright with it". "It"s not a compromise. It"s just a different way of doing things. "I would never advertise a fast food company or cigarettes. "It would have to be a very good drink to promote booze. "If I do adverts, I"ll handpick them and I"m not going to do stuff just because it"ll give me a big fat cheque. I"m making enough money already. "Besides, it would make a mockery of what I"m doing. "I"m trying to be honest so if I then go and do a sofa advert, what does that say about me?" KT won"t rule out a sizzling fashion shoot, however, provided it"s done in good taste. She said: "I have no problem looking sexy. But I"ll preserve my dignity at all costs. If I"m comfortable with it, I"ll do it. Many photographers do amazing portraits. "I saw a naked calendar for a cancer charity which was amazing but I probably wouldn"t get asked to do that anyway. I don"t think I"ll do nude, it"s not my thing. Maybe 10 years ago I would have said yes." KT"s new single, Suddenly I See, is released on Monday. After that KT will attempt to crack the American market - one of the last territories to pick upon her music. It"s a busy time for jet-setting KTwho is just back fromawhirlwind tour. She said: "I went around the world in 10 days, from here to Bangkok, then Bangkok to Sydney, Sydney to Melbourne, Los Angeles to Toronto, Toronto to Montreal, then home." She had no food on the last leg due to the caterers" strike but, in true rock "n" roll fashion, KT didn"t let that ruin her trip. She said:"We got given lots of food vouchers but I didn"t use them because it was an overnight flight so I just bought loads of booze." Next month, KT will learn if she has won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize after Eye To The Telescope was one of 12 albums nominated for the musical equivalent of the Booker Prize. The album will be judged alongside some of the best releases of the past year, including the Kaiser Chiefs" Employment, which is the bookies" favourite, and Coldplay"s X&Y. But KT says she"ll give the £20,000 prize money away if she wins. Also in the running are Bloc Party, MIA, the Magic Numbers,Anthony and the Johnsons, Maximo Park,The Go!Team, Seth Lakeman,Hard-Fi and Polar Bear. KT said: "I"m over the moon about the Mercury Music award. It"s a really big deal. I"ll be playing live at the awards and there are lots of other really good albums nominated. "It"s a fantastic line-up and part of me is like, "damn it". "I"m much less likely to win if there are other good people in there. But I"m very flattered to be part of it. "I love the Kaiser Chiefs and adore the Magic Numbers but my favourite album from the nominees is the one by Anthony And The Johnsons. "It"s the most original album and I think they should win it because originality is what the Mercury awards are all about." She said: "My mum and dad are so proud.They didn"t know about the Mercury Music awards until I got nominated because they"re not really into music. "Now they know it"s a highly respected award. If I win I"ll give the money to a cause I believe in. "I think it"s part of the tradition among those who win the Mercury. Winning it is priceless." Meanwhile, KT applauded the Magic Numbers for walking out on Top Of The Pops after presenter Richard Bacon had a dig at them for being overweight. KT said: "I"m really glad they are on thenominations list because they are a really essentialnew band. "I love what they did at Top OfThe Pops. It"s great. "Just because Top Of The Pops is a national institution doesn"t mean you should be treated like that. It"s not right. "That programme can"t operate without the support of the band." But she added: "I"m recording my Top Of The Pops this week so I"ll be listening very carefully to what Richard Bacon has to say but I have a brand new frock I want to wear so I may put up with more than usual |

Vaya por dios  No entiendo ni papa de lo que dice en la entrevista esa pero si tú dices que lo desmiente me lo creo. Ya me había hecho ilusiones con la nenita esta,jeje. Seguiré adorando a Peaches que por lo menos, aunque sea mitad y mitad, algo entiende
