Producer company neformat confirmed the information that Julia Volkova is pregnant. According to the words of their press-attach? Aleksandra Tityanko, Julia will become a mom in September, and the childs father is Pavel [aka Pasha] Sidorov. "In the case of group Tatu, image is life, insists Ms. Tityanko. And since the girls lives are changing, so does the image".

Julia decided to fully use the time left before the delivery of baby. On 16th of June she will fly to London with Lena Katina and record the new album until the end of summer. Some of the compositions for Tatus new album were offered by Universal Music International, and the rest were offered from Neformat. The new album will be in two languages English and Russian. It is planned that the new album will be released at the end of autumn / beginning of winter.

The duo Tatu, which was shaken by their world-wide scandals, decided that a slight change in their image will do them good. The press-management of Neformat reported in its newsletter that they have started a movement: t.A.T.u are to become t.E.m.A [translates as theme, topic or subject Kate]

Here we publish the newsletter with unchanged orthography and punctuation:

"The singers of group Tatu, after changing their producer Ivan Shapovalov, correctly decided to change their image and the name of the group. Since the rights to the name Tatu belong to Shapovalov, the new management of the group decided to introduce them to the market with familiar faces but a new name, by changing three letters in the old one. Now the duo, which entered the pages of our history as pioneer-lesbians, will present themselves as heterosexual girls and call themselves Tema (t.E.m.A.).

According to the girls themselves, this is not only due to Julia Volkovas pregnancy, their new producer Boris Renbsky decided that the girls are too old to play the roles of Lolita-girls".

It was also reported that the girls recorded a new song Kto, esli ne ya ["Who, if not me"], which will start radio rotations in mid-June. Meanwhile Julia Volkova "decided to cheer the fans up with a new surprise" heroically refusing doctors suggestions.

it´s been a bad day!

07 June 2004 Tatu did not change their name and did not release new songs

The information about a change of name (it was said earlier that group "Tatu" was changing their name to "t.E.M.a.") and about a new song "Who, If Not Me?" are incorrect. According to the press attache of the group Alexandra Tityanko, "Tatu" is and will stay group "Tatu". They don"t intend to break up or change their name. As for the song "Who, If Not Me?", it is not from "Tatu". ::
